With every turn I walked into a postcard! It was love at first sight. Nothing short of a dream. The perfectly manicured town of Oia in Santorini. The white washed caves and bright blue domes. The narrow passageways that winded between the white walled buildings. The still waters and the bright sun reflecting on them. The stunning views from the cliff side cafes. The familiar yet striking windmills. And of course the sun painting the sky shades of orange, pink and purple as it set on the caldera. Go experience the magic of Santorini for yourself, if you haven’t already.
Here’s a glimpse of this dreamy island in the Southern Aegean sea, through my lens:
Waking up to views like this. Aah! The good life.
I haven’t seen such still waters anywhere else. Have you?
Yeah. We just couldn’t get enough of that view.
Meet the ubiquitous, friendly cats of Santorini.
There’s inspiration everywhere. You just have to look for it.
Atlantis Book Store. Possibly my favorite bookshop in the entire world. Everything about it. The books. The stationery. The dogs. The quotations on the walls. The warm sales people. The vibe.
Say hello to the donkeys of Santorini, making their way to work. Monday morning blues are everywhere huh.
Mornings spent exploring every tiny street of Oia.
The familiar yet striking windmills, as charming as they are in the postcards. Actually, even more so.
Add some pink to the blue and white. Call it magic!
And i’ll leave you with that postcard you’ve seen a million times.
Its time to see it for yourself if you haven’t already. Isn’t it?
